Tornado news :(
We heard sad news this morning that a tornado killed 19 in Lady Lake County, Florida.
What’s going on? First, it’s winter. Second, it’s not the Great Plains; it’s Florida. Third, it’s a tornado, not a hurricane. We’ve studied the tornado alley on Neighboroo, but we didn’t know Florida has areas with higher risk than average for tornados. We zoomed to our heat map on tornado likelihood for Lake County to check it out. Tampa, FL, also has higher risk of tornados. Some areas are four or five times higher than the national average.
At first, we thought it was the crazy weather suggested by some to be a result of global warming climate change. After doing a bit of research, we realized Florida actually has its fair share of tornados. We extend our condolences to the family and friends who lost someone in the tragedy. I can’t imagine. One of us lived through a tornado as a child and understand how terrifying it is.

WordPress themes are related to this second website. They are designed to work with the WordPress website software and cannot be used with the free blogs. The web addresses are similar and the sites are operated by the same company, but the products are very different.
You go to the .com site if you want to start a free blog. You go to the .org site if you want to down load the free WordPress software. This software is run on your web hosting server to give an easy way to design and operate your website.
What are WordPress Themes?
A WordPress theme is a website design template designed to work with the WordPress software exclusively. There is a limited collection of themes available directly from wordpress.org, but these are not used by most people. There is an even larger market of dynamic, professionally designed themes offered from private designers.
No matter what type of website you want to design, from adult to classical styles, you can find a WordPress theme for it. There are themes designed specifically for particular uses like an ecommerce website or a travel website. There are also themes based on particular colors, color combinations, and patterns that can be applied to a variety of websites.

This can then be downloaded into your WordPress software and your web space is quickly transformed. You go from a blank space to a well designed space with a professional polish in very little time.
You can always modify your WordPress them if you know some code, or you can hire someone to make some changes for you. Most will come with at least a few color options and there may be options for images that come in the design. Changing images out for your own is always a possibility as well.
